The seminar was delivered by Tony Haren of Admor Business Solutions. Tony founded Admor Business Solutions in 2004 and offers advice, mentoring and training services to small business owners and social enterprises from pre-start through to growth.

The seminar provided guidance on key financial issues for young people embarking upon self-employment in rural areas and covered topics such as; starting up the first steps, keeping records, tax, making a profit and signposting to sources of help.

Olga Gallagher, Director, RDC said:

“RDC believe it is important to help give young people support and guidance on the main areas of business finance as they embark on the first steps to starting their own business. Tony has over 30 years experience in finance and his expertise in this field was beneficial to the young people in attendance. We trust our young entrepreneurs have gained valuable information and will use it to enhance their businesses”.

Tony Haren said:

“Finance can be a topic a lot of people try to avoid and at the RYE event I tried to eliminate the fear and introduce these young enthusiastic people to knowing the basics of book keeping, retaining receipts and remembering to keep records as good practice.

“I would like to thank the RDC for the invite and would like to wish the participants well for the future”.
