Ballynahinch to host Christmas cross community cultural event
Christmas will come early to Ballynahinch with a special Cross Community Cultural evening on Friday, December 20th.
Organised by Langley Road Community Association and Hillcrest Drive Community Association and facilitated by the EU PEACE III funded Building Relationships in Communities (bric) Programme, the event will be held in the town’s Market Square from 6.30pm to 9pm and will be bring the whole town together to enjoy a range of fun activities as the countdown to Christmas draws closer.
Andrew Steenson, Chairperson of Langley Road Community Association said:
“With Christmas just around the corner, this event will help build community relations in Ballynahinch and get everyone into the festive spirit.
“We want to thank the bric Programme and the Housing Executive for making the evening possible and look forward to welcoming everyone to Market Square on the 20th.”
The Cross community Cultural night is just one of a series of over 80 bric initiatives aimed at building understanding and relationships in a variety of locations in the province.
