Princes Countryside Fund soon open for applications

The Prince’s Countryside Fund (“the Fund”) will provide funding towards projects operating in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Applications are sought that clearly contribute towards one or more of the focus areas set out below:
Improving the sustainability of British farming targeting the areas of greatest need
Improving the sustainability of rural communities targeting the areas of greatest
need
Reconnecting people with the countryside

Some further information re the Fund:
Timings: Open: Monday 12th March 2012. Close: Friday 13th April 2012 at 17.00

Eligibility: Applications will be accepted from organisations but not from individuals or statutory bodies.

Funding: The maximum that can be applied for is £50,000 in total. There is no minimum.

Decisions on which projects will be funded are made by the Fund’s independent Board of Trustees.
