North wind blows through the Alley

A range of local bands performed with woodwind students from the Donegal School of Music on Saturday 16th April 2011, for the North Wind Blows concert in Strabane's Alley Theatre.

St Joesphs Brass Band, Bready Ulste Scots Pipe Band, Glenties Brass Band and woodwind students from the Donegal School of Music came together on Saturday, April 16th, for the North Wind Blows concert in Strabnane's Alley Theatre. The four bands made up a unique ensemble of brass, highland pipes, woodwind and percussion. They had been rehearsing together since autumn through a project which celebrates some of the many local musical traditions while bringing people togetrher through music.
