PPS21 Design Guide Launched

The Department of the Environment has published draft Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPG) to accompany Plannng Policy Statement (PPS) 21: Sustainable Development in the Countryside.

Building on Tradition: A Sustainable Design Guide for the Northern Ireland Countryside provides assistance to all those involved with sustainable development in the Northern Ireland countryside to understand the requirements of PPS 21.

The guide promotes quality and sustainable building design in Northern Ireland's countryside. You are invited to send your views on the draft design guide. This consultation will end on 8 July 2011.
