RDC address NI Housing Conference

RDC Deputy Chief Executive Teresa Canavan delivered an address at the Northern Ireland Housing Conference 2011 which took place in the Stormont Hotel on February 23rd.
The programme featured a panel of expert speakers examining a number of issues including investing in housing for the future, addressing rural housing needs and urban regeneration. The conference was opened by y Minister for Social Development Alex Attwood, who spoke on his Department’s strategy for tackling the challenges posed by the recession for the local housing sector. Teresa Canavans presentation focused on ‘Addressing Rural Housing Needs’.
In here presentation Teresa highlighted the BRIC programme informing delegates that the programe would ensure that good relations was placed at the heart of social housing in the region.
