Lapland Opportunity Awaits Young Entrepreneurs

30 November 2017

Want to be in with a chance of travelling to Lapland?  Enjoy the magic of the ‘Midnight Sun’ and other natural phenomenon on Finland’s northernmost region!

The Rural Youth Entrepreneurship Programme is keen to help young entrepreneurs turn their business ideas into reality whilst also offering an opportunity to travel to Lapland for a week-long series of masterclasses, mentoring and business support

Two-day Business Start Programmes encourage young entrepreneurs to explore their business idea further, develop a full business plan, benefit from an online support platform and gain access to an international investors network. Completion of the business plan entitles you to be considered for the trip to Lapland, due to take place in January 2018.

Workshops are open to anyone aged 16-30 who has a business idea in mind. The idea can be simple or complex; easy to establish or requiring more support.

Alternatively, if you work with a group of young people and are aware of several budding entrepreneurs then we can deliver a specific session to your group – just get in touch!

The Programme is a transnational entrepreneurship support programme for young people aged between 16 – 30 years. The programme is being delivered on a partnership basis across the Northern Periphery and Arctic region. It is funded by the Northern Periphery and Artic Programme through the European Regional Development Fund and is also supported by the DAERA Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation Programme.
